Step 1: Prep Your Skin
Shower and exfoliate to remove dead skin. Ensure your skin is completely dry before applying. No need for moisturiser—our formula includes Shea Butter—but if you do moisturise, make sure you're dry before starting.
Step 2: Apply the Tan
Apply 2-3 pumps to the Caribé Luxury Velvet Tanning Mitt and rub in circular motions for even coverage. For a darker tan, layer by adding extra pumps. Phoebe uses 3 pumps for legs, 2 for arms, body, and neck. Leah layers 3 pumps for legs, 2 for arms and body, with an extra for a deeper glow.
Step 3: Let It Develop
Leave on for 4-6 hours (or overnight) and rinse with water—no soap—until clear. You don’t need to tan your whole body each time; focus on the areas you want to show off. Always patch test before use!

Our tanning mousses have been developed with melanin in mind so currently our range suits those with melanated skin. Please see the product page for shade recommendations based off of your skin tone.
Our tans last up to 7 days and in order to ensure your glow lasts, please make sure you moisturise daily, avoid taking baths and try not to scrub when washing.
Our customers and founders have not experienced stained sheets or clothes from our tanning mousses.
We have scented our tanning mousse with a tropical scent so when you are applying our tans the aromas you smell will remind you of your summer holiday.
