Nice to meet you, we’re Phoebe and Leah, the dynamic duo behind Caribé. Growing up with a Caribbean background, we were surrounded by a culture that celebrated colour, vibrancy, and individuality. But as we navigated the beauty industry, we saw a glaring omission: tanning products that catered to women with darker skin tones. Determined to make a change, we combined our passion for beauty and our commitment to inclusivity, launching Caribé to fill the void. We’re driven by a shared vision to create products that not only work amazingly but also empower women of all skin tones to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
OUR STORY
How it all began
Caribé started with a simple idea: everyone deserves to glow. Sisters Phoebe and Leah grew up loving the sun-kissed radiance of their Caribbean heritage, but when it came to tanning products, they found that existing options just didn’t work for their darker skin tones. Frustrated by a beauty industry that overlooked women of color, they decided to create their own solution. What began as a quest for a natural-looking tan evolved into a mission to redefine inclusivity in beauty. Caribé was born to fill that gap—embracing all shades and celebrating the diversity that makes us unique.
